  1. Can’t wait for the big event. We’re also gathering up gear and starting to get organized. Love to you.
Guess we missed the boat on the canoe ride charter? Can we swim there? ha ha.
    See you Saturday.

    1. It probably is close enough to swim, especially for a professional synchro swimmer. You could probably do it holding your breath with a smile all the while. Instead feel free to use the canoe charter. It’s not too late! See you soon!

  2. Hey, starting to gather our goods for camping and doing some online research so we are prepared. I think that last time we went camping, Liam was 2 or 3. I’ve seen the word “thunderbox” referenced online, is it what I think it is? Do you know what our site number is by chance? Thanks!

    1. Arrin, without knowing the outcome of your research, I can’t be sure what you have determined to be a thunderbox. If it is synonymous with treasure box, Johnny-on-the-spot or rustic toilet without walls, then you are correct! You’re at site 518.
      Can’t wait to see you!

  3. I have to admit the question of what to wear has been niggling me for weeks…is it camping casual or camping chic? So looking forward to this weekend!

  4. Hola!

Finally we start getting ready. I am checking everything before I ask questions.
    The blog is awesome!

What is the number of our lot?
Did you make the reservation of the canoe for us or we contact Bruce?
Does everybody that sleep in the island know the above and know how to get to their lots?

    1. Hi Mom,
You’re staying at Site 520 (Lot 520 as you would say). The canoes you need to rent yourself because Bruce will have to size you for a paddle and life jacket. You meet him at his shop on the Mazinaw side of the park (the east side). But, because you’re special…ie my mom and pops…and because you’re coming early, we may organize all fo that for you. We’ll see…
Thanks for using the Web site.

  5. If the wedding is anything like the e-vite, I’m sure it will be awesome. Brimming with love emanating from the twins, your family and devoted friends.
Does anyone know what to wear to a camping wedding? Does my canoe need to match my shoes?

    1. Thanks Tia Juana for your vote of confidence. We do feel lucky for all of the love. Now, if anyone figures out appropriate attire, please let us know! 😉
